Independent engineering lab

I build
useful things.

A working map of the lab

I work across interfaces, APIs, data, and AI-enabled tools — connecting the pieces that turn an idea into working software.

The work spans

Interfaces. Services. Data. Intelligence.

Things I have
actually made.

A compact record of shipped experiments and full-stack builds. The status labels describe what is evidenced here — not a claim about ongoing maintenance.

Developer product

GitHub Wrapped

A shareable year-in-review generated from a GitHub username.

The build turns contribution history into a report with useful stats, generated commentary, and an optional roast.

Build notesPer-user/year caching, idempotent report generation, and an AI fallback path.

AI workflow

AI Project Picker

A role-aware way to decide which repositories belong in an application.

It reads a role description against repository metadata, ranks the evidence, and returns points that can inform an application.

Build notesGitHub and AI orchestration, ranking prompt contracts, and structured response shaping.

Reliability study

Word Generator

A small domain for testing dependable patterns around LLM-backed features.

A reference build for schema-checked output, cache-first responses, and local fallback data when an external service is unavailable.

Build notesRuntime schema guards, cache strategy for token cost, and failure-tolerant service boundaries.

Full-stack product

Shukuma

Workout tracking split across a client app and a dedicated API service.

An exercise in choosing boundaries early: a focused interface, an Express domain layer, and independent frontend and API deployments.

Build notesService separation, REST resource design, and independent deployment workflows.

Next.jsExpressMongoDBTailwind CSS

From interface
to deployment.

The useful part is moving between layers: shaping an interface, giving it a service boundary, choosing a data model, and getting it out the door.

01

Interfaces

React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Vite

02

Services

Node.js, Express, REST APIs, authentication

03

Data

PostgreSQL, MongoDB, relational and document modelling

04

Delivery

TypeScript, GitHub Actions, Linux, deployment
